Corporate IRS Audit ServicesAt Kempa & Company, years of training from a former IRS management employee has set the foundation for our time tested process, which is designed to reduce your risk of an audit and limit the findings, should you be chosen for audit. Our multi-level review process reduces exposure, limits both inquiries and audits, and sets a professional standard, second to none. We credit this process for having had very few audits compared to the national average, all with little or no changes made.
For those of you who retain us after having been chosen for audit, we basically apply the same review process to your old records and compile them in an acceptable format which the Service would accept. It is a some what time intensive process in situations where your work was not completed professionally, but a well spent dollar which limits your exposure and the findings, prior to your audit appointment.
Recently the Internal Revenue Service has been granted five billion dollars for added enforcement personnel, so if you have come to Kempa & Company for some piece of mind that you have not felt in some time, we trust you will find comfort in some of our recent audit results:
Please read the following testimonials from some of our audited clients: My prior accountant was arrested for tax evasion. When I met with Glenn he advised me that I had a very good chance of being audited, and two years later after I switched to Kempa and Company, I did receive a letter stating I was chosen for audit because of my association with my prior accountant. I was very nervous and had no idea of why my prior accountant was having legal problems. Well, my hat is off to Glenn. The audit was completed and there was no change for either year. G.A., MD - Lake Success, NY I received my IRS letter while I had my business up for sale and was very concerned about the possibilities. I took a deep breath, thought for a minuteand gained some reassurance knowing I had professionals working for me. I never met with anyone which was a big plus. The end result was $450 due and I can't tell you how satisfied I was with the results. I sold my wholesale business and the proceeds stayed in my pocket. J.P. - Calverton, NY We had an audit based on a 1099 issue regarding my subcontractors. The IRS was very aggressive from the time I received the letter. Even though I knew it was a hot topic, it was a bit of a surprise to me because I was very punctual regarding my tax due dates. I did not feel my accountant was up to speed on the issues and was referred to Glenn to handle the case. He teamed up with a tax attorney that he does business with, and the end result was that all of my subcontractor payments were allowed to remain 1099's. We saved $240,000 in taxes assessed. M.J. - Hoboken, NJ As a Real Estate Developer building 100 homes per year and managing many properties, I had no time to deal with this. I called Glenn in and presented him with the IRS letter. He advised me not to worry about it and three weeks letter he handed me the no change letter. A much better result than prior audits we have had, with other accountants. R.M. JR.- Locust Valley, NY I received the letter and sat with Glenn to go over the audit process. It was very intimidating and decided this is not something I want to know too much about. They went back and forth with paperwork for a while because we kept getting additional requests. It was probably several months before the audit was completed, but the end result was no change. I have accountants solicit me weekly, but I am not going anywhere! A.C.- Smithtown, NY
